[For a kid who's pretty much constantly sauntering about shooting people creepy grins and running off their mouth, Chara seems fairly relaxed, this feed. Could be the fact that they're in the library. Or perhaps it's just a nice day outside.]

[Or maybe it's the fact that they're making a mildly off-kilter Saw joke, whatever.]

The past few weeks, I've noticed when talking to others that even the most unassuming words can have significantly different meaning; mark me curious. So here's the rules;

Each of us will have our turn in choosing a word. Perhaps this word has no real meaning to us, or perhaps it does.

The receiver of said word goes on to define it; either in a social...or personal context. Then they also pick a word to be defined. And thus the cycle continues until one of us gets bored.

[A bright smile, and the camera swings wildly askew as it's holder reaches over the side of the lounge for another book.]

I'll even start it off. Your word, is 'monster'.

Well... a lot of people would call a 'monster' something horrifying... something that they're afraid of. But... I suppose it depends. It could just be something non-human.

Ah... now I pick a word...

[Well, since they picked 'monster'... his expression tenses slightly as if expecting the worst from this word.]

And what a word to receive in turn. Chara barely manages not to burst into laughter, holdin up their book and politely coughing behind it.]

[They started this game with the intent of categorizing those who might know to much- who are the threats? And within minutes, they've found one.

Just goes to show how worthwhile a little Game can be.]

[Another loaded question. Wade isn't so sure he likes this game anymore. He's not even so sure he liked it to begin with.]

A fresh start. A new beginning. Having to start again from square one no matter what you do or what happens to you.

[A Freudian slip there-- he'd meant to say "being able to start over", not "having to start over"... or had he?

(Don't think he'd missed the bit about chocolate pie, by the way. Wade will remember that.)]

[He's confused for a moment, before the idea of the Spider Undead with a chef's hat makes him snort.]

[He's quiet for a few long moments. That...]

[He'd had to be brave, he'd seen the relief on their faces when he rescued them, but...]

I've noticed that too.

In my world, monster meant something scary or unfamiliar. Or a horrible person. [Like a significant portion of her family.] We didn't have monsters like I've met here.

[Okay, that makes Wade laugh. "Deviants" indeed. There's still a trace of a chuckle in his voice as he answers the next one.]

[He really does seem to know too much. Chara rounds the corner to the Mess Hall- before backtracking, just a bit. The moving image around them isn't going to give away that they've just stepped in (and back out of) the doorway.
