It's painful but not particularly damaging, and it doesn't stop the Tyrunt from twisting and attempting to bite the arm that just used Thunderpunch. Flames play around her teeth for an instant as she charges the attack - a Fire Fang, with accompanying chance for a flinch or a burn. It's made even stronger by the support behind it: high Attack, a Muscle Band, and the Strong Jaw ability, which gives the equivalent of STAB to all biting moves.
