[Chloe is outside somewhere, probably the garden if the greenery around her is any indication. She's got a cigarette between her fingers and takes a drag before she keeps speaking, smoke curling out from between her lips.]

Who of you chucklefucks actually celebrates Thanksgiving? Or something close to it? 'cause I'unno about you but I'm seriously craving some bombass turkey and pumpkin pie.

It wasn't until recently. It all kind of happened reeeeeally quickly. One day it's just failing flight simulators back on good ol' Earth, the next, I'm piloting a giant blue robot lion that can combine with other robot lions into one giant robot. And trying to save the universe from an evil galactic empire that's been enslaving it for thousands of years. No big deal.

[Lance gives a little shrug. It's odd how...used to it he'd gotten.]

That's kind of a huge jump if you were failing your simulators back on Earth.

Are you aware that your life kinda sounds like an anime?

Yeah, well, those simulators were probably rigged or something anyway. I'm plenty capable actually flying my lion. More than capable. I kind of kick ass.

Uhuh. [Why does she not believe you, Lance?] Is anime to video game a downgrade or an upgrade? I'm thinking downgrade. You get the realism, but all the stupid awesome episode-long powerups are gone. ... oh God I'm starting to sound like Max. Her nerdery is rubbing off on me!
