[ AKITO HOPES YOU LIKE FISH. because he - or rather, she for the moment - finally saved up enough energy to shapeshift and go swimming. She's still sporting gills on her sides under too-prominent ribs, though her current female anatomy is hidden by the sheet filled with a good amount fish she has clutched to her chest. ]

I caught fish! Enough to share with everyone! [ while not as energy-intensive as turning into fire, shapeshifting does take the wind out of Akito when it involves hunting underwater for hours. and it's obvious by the heavier breathing and tired curve of her spine that she's utterly spent. ] I can't cook or preserve any of it right now though... Need a nap...


[ the some of the fish still thrash about in the sheet, throwing off Akito's balance. but she is a predator through and through and doesn't relinquish her grasp at all. ]

((ooc: akito is the sort of character who bases his gender identity on what bits he has at the time, so when shifted female akito uses female pronouns and as male he uses male. if anyone would rather i use strictly male pronouns when gender-swapped just let me know!

also, canonically akito doesn't have any shame when it comes to nudity. bodies are bodies, and he will run around starkers in rooms filled with people and not see the big deal with it. So feel free to have your character send hints akito's way that clothes are important.))

[ It's an opportunity to get in on the ground floor for lots of food, and Soul can get with that program. Plus, he's not sure this girl knows what she's doing, running around naked. Someone more sinister might try to agree and that wouldn't work out well. ]

[ she seems relieved to not have to lug the squirming bunch around by herself any longer. the question of clothes surprises her forbarely a moment - her family always freaked out when she ran around naked at home, leading to her squealing with laughter and inevitably getting smacked in the head with clothes or tackled into them and oh, her heart clenches longingly at the memory - and she quickly shakes her head. ]

Nothing I can wear right now. I can fix that after I rest a few minutes though.

[ feathers can count as clothes in a pinch, so she'll cover herself with iridescent plumage in varying shades of blue. but later. right now she is wiped. ]
