Nature of Emergency:

There's a unique shadow engaging our forces within cleared areas. It's highly skilled and has long-range capabilities. Contact with its projectiles seems to cause temporary sickness. It might be actively hunting, so stay in the safe zones if you can. I suggest posting lookouts. This castle isn't fortified enough.

I repeat: avoid this shadow. Don't go asking for trouble. We're looking into it.

What are the effects of the sickness?

Hits like a flu. Soreness, fever, congestion, etc.

Doesn't seem to last as long, though. Still shaking it off myself, but it's passing on its own.

I don't think what I've got in mind is the usual castle protocol. If it comes down to it, we'll neutralize it, but... I'm hoping there's an alternative.
