Hello, hello. This is Nikkari.

As some of you have noticed, a few of us have recently had very vivid dreams even after the aftermath of Ozuma leaving us. Dreams that left some physical effects that shouldn't be possible if they were just dreams.

I've spoken with a few others already, you see. We agree that they're probably trying to tell us something. I think we have a starting point, but any pieces that can be added to the puzzle would be really helpful, you know?

It could be very useful. That's about all mine consisted of too, you know?

Perhaps. But with just that one door as a clue, it could be anywhere in the castle... That kind of search could lead us deep into the insecure areas.

More than likely. The door I dreamt of was in the sluice courtyard, and who knows what might be on the other side there?

That... Sounds like it could be right. Worth a chance to investigate? But with a group, for sure.

I haven't had any dreams, but my roommate has and she seems to think the same way you do. I'd like to try and help out in any way I can, if that's all right?

Anything would help. In fact, we're gathering in the dining hall to investigate right now, if you want to join us.

But are they trying to tell us something helpful or even remotely interesting, that's what remains to be seen~

There is little that has not been interesting in this place. Helpful...? That remains to be seen, doesn't it?

Something's up, and I don't like the implications of what some of these dreams featured.

Hence why I think the investigation team should be well-armed.

Of course, we should always be armed when going out, but I think we've really pissed off Queenie, you know?

Rest assured. SeGA and I will be well prepared to introduce Queen Darkness von Shadowshade to heretofore unheard of realms of pain. And heavy ammunition.

You received a key, and I dreamed of a door. That's a good matchup, don't you think?

Yeah, if your door's locked. Could open anything.

... Either something is guarding the light child, or the one in the dream was merely wearing her face. [ A low edge of a growl to that last bit. Volga knows tricks like that. ]

"The light child." Their princess. The one he'd quietly been searching for signs of since her disappearance early in the year...

...In either case, we need to find her. If it's her, we bring her home. If not, we put the imposter down.

Physical effects?

[He's surprised by that for a moment before he remembers everything else that's happened so far. Add "dreams affecting the real world" to the list of impossible things he's learned can happen.]

What kind of physical effects?

[Impossibilities seems to be the name of the game in this place, really.]

You know that burnout effect you get when you look at something too bright? And someone else got a key they didn't own before. I'm sure there are other things I haven't heard about yet too.

[If physical effects were already impossible, dream objects materializing in the real world are beyond the impossible. "Impossible" is starting to sound like hyperbole at this point.]

I think that's the first key I've heard of here. It seems so conventional after all the pressure plates and idols in this place.
