[ It's so strange to be able to type again. After literally years of having to handwrite written messages, it's odd to use a phone again. It's perhaps that more than anything which sees him putting up this post onto the social media network. It's form a "newbie" and it might be out of place with the growing dark climate with the flickering lights and rotting foot, but it's something he throws out all the same.

Soooo!! Does anyone know any god date spots in the castle? Anyone already sailing the seas of romance before now, or is the stark soldiery we've been pushed towards put a quash on romance in the name of stoic friendship? Let's hear those stories, people! man we had a festival a little while back - ozuma said that it was tradition around that time of the year - and i accidentally had some alcohol

Heeeeh, well I could say something about how you might've picked the wrong sort of substance, but I doubt there's that much variety in a castle like this. Ah, especially not now, even!

Soooo~ actually, on that subject, how is the variety around here? Where do people pick up their knickknacks or know what food's a coming?

there was a lot during the festival but idk how much is left

food is usually found in the messhall there's a whole kitchen in there

i actually spend most of my time in there

its kind of a mess rn though what with oz being down for the count, we're not getting what we usually do when he's around

Then that means you might be able to tell me what you usually would be getting?

but yeah uh i wind up making a lotta meat dishes when we've got it. rice, bread, fruit, veggies. really its just a lot of ingredients to get made in to something else.

So there's no ready-made things? What about our meat or fish situation? Anything particularly outlandish you can tell a tale of?

i dont get out on the castle missions much anymore so im usually in the kitchen if im not hangin out with maka or ryuji or whoever

i don't think ozuma understands what a microwave is so no ready-made things no

just got a fishing pole actually oz was giving us fish before all this but im hoping to find some out where theres water we can get to

uhm when we first got ehre i wasnt entirely sure the meat was like stuff we were used to? like it looked like beef but i had no way of knowing if it WAS beef

Did you ever confirm about the meat? It wouldn't be good if it was human or something! ♥

But oh, ho, we do get more indulgent things supplied. What about components, we getting any mirin? Soy sauce? I know we're not getting soda as far as I can tell.

lol no it wasn't meat it was just an animal that wasn't exactly like the cows we know

oh yeah no i started asking for that stuff pretty early on so oz keeps us pretty well supplied

no way in hell i'm serving bland stuff unless someone asks for it

So are you looking out for our tastes, or also looking for our health here, Rin-kun? Are you the sort to watch our nutrition?

Since when does soy sauce or mirin count as rare? No, no, I meant straight up exotic! What abut our French Cuisine or Quail?

hey man when i got here all we had was salt

and not even fine salt i'm talking the huge sea salt chunks

i really don't think we're gonna be finding quail just waiting around for us in the kitchen unless we ask

So what can we expect daily, Mister Chef?

meat dishes, rice, bread, fruit... ive been getting better at desert stuff with zavied's help...

Are we neglecting vegetables?

not all the time

sometimes we get some veggies in

i think the garden has some growing, too

So there actually are shortages sometimes. But we've got our first push towards surplus going?

Yeah, sometimes. Not usually as bad as the one we're heading towards right now, but I think sometimes Ozuma just doesn't have the strength to get everything we could use all in one go.

Not that I blame him, he must use a fuckton of energy to help us every month.

but yeah we're working on that now that we know it can be a whole lot worse if we're not careful

So that's all actively his power bringing stuff in, and he can't automate it or anything? I imagine you'd know best, given you've got that whole food hook up we've got not.

But yeah, if we're heading to something, we'll need to be careful.
