[ It's so strange to be able to type again. After literally years of having to handwrite written messages, it's odd to use a phone again. It's perhaps that more than anything which sees him putting up this post onto the social media network. It's form a "newbie" and it might be out of place with the growing dark climate with the flickering lights and rotting foot, but it's something he throws out all the same.

It's just another day.

As for *here* specifically, I enjoyed it about as much as getting a chainsaw in the gut. Though that wasn't the holiday's fault, my friend was injured that day.

[At least she can admit that much rather than having some weird tsundere Complex about the whole thing.]

I don't know! I've only been here for a little less than a week, so I don't know the rule of this world. In the world I was just in for years, the rule would have been a Shift to try to make use of the power of love!

I can't tell you why Rasputin was in Italy either, but either way I had to take him out so.

Shadows aren't interested in love so much as ripping out your soul and dismembering your body probably.

That was my assumption on the shadows, which is why I'm surprised there was anything to do with Valentines! So come on, give me the 411. Or if they do anything for other Holidays? Or maybe Ozuma-san does? That Queen?

They weren't specifically attacking on that day, it was before. On an exploration mission we ran into a new shadow--very big, very aggressive. My friend got stabbed in the chest.

Sometimes weird things do happen on the holidays, though. Like people falling in love on that day, mistletoe on Christmas, but I don't know if it's Ozuma or the Queen. Magic around here fluctuates sometimes.

There's no real winning in this, we're just trying to map out the castle and drive out shadows along the way. None of us know what exactly is going on with Ozuma and the Queen.

So do you feel any responsibility to this world or to Ozuma-san?

[ Tsubaki... huh. Better to get away from names even if he doesn't know any Tsubakis he doesn't think. ]

Ozuma called me for help, and even if I don't know what's going on with him and the Queen, he's never been unkind to us. It'd be irresponsible if I didn't try my best to help him.

That's actually a pretty sound perspective, considering that he or his god pulled us in here without consent. We're drafted more than we've been asked to help. Is it still fair?

[ In truth... after Luceti, he sees no need to not dedicate himself to the cause and to see it through. It's not the conflict that he personally felt connected to, but at the same time, he was here. Was responsible. And even if he's not being fed much now, he suspects the food, therefore, was normally by the grace of Ozuma-san or that god ]

I never said it was fair, but I doubt Ozuma has control over who he calls too. There's way too many kids here to think he does.

[Nothing about it is fair, war is hell, etcetera.]

Since November of last year, so almost up to my anniversary now. My friends Rin and Ryuji have been here longer.

Well yeah, it's okay, but I can't give you an exact answer. I'd guess it's been about a year for them, maybe just a little more since they're definitely the longest staying. We only just really got consistent calendars here, up until then they just had their phones from their world.

Oh, there's two Rins here, the one I'm talking about is a boy, last name Okumura. Ryuji is the only Ryuji here so you wouldn't have trouble contacting him if you wanted to talk.
