[ It's so strange to be able to type again. After literally years of having to handwrite written messages, it's odd to use a phone again. It's perhaps that more than anything which sees him putting up this post onto the social media network. It's form a "newbie" and it might be out of place with the growing dark climate with the flickering lights and rotting foot, but it's something he throws out all the same.

Soooo!! Does anyone know any god date spots in the castle? Anyone already sailing the seas of romance before now, or is the stark soldiery we've been pushed towards put a quash on romance in the name of stoic friendship? Let's hear those stories, people! well at least shadows are presumably up front about wanting to kill you.

what's the deal with them anyway? i haven't seen any, but all people will tell me is that we're supposed to fight them.

[ Well that's dark... but it's true. He thinks of some of his own experiences, and conflates say the Cultists with the likes of Izaya. it makes sense. That said, he'd still put the Third Party as worse, but that was from experience with it. ]

I don't really know either. I've been told that they're solid, living darkness which serves the Queen of this castle, which Ozuma-san, who summoned us, is at odds with. And we're here to work against the interests of the Queen and her shadows.

In my case I intend to try hitting it. But then, most of the enemies I've fought before now had bodies.

Ideally, it would be someone who had been here longer, but these things take a village. People to collect it, report it, interview for it, and search for the truth. I'll even help as much as I can, but if you write what you learn, compare to more old hats, and build from there, we can make a Guide.

Maybe even write it for how we'd want to have been informed.

i mean i don't think people would lie to us about this out of spite. aren't we all on the same side? nominally anyway.

but i guess i'll be keeping an eye out. i'm not really a journalist type but whatever.

Oh no no no I don't mean spite.

In my experience there's some spite, but most of the time, especially where the information isn't already collected, it's actually ignorance. Some people might not know things and they assume. Or they heard something and report it, and it might not really be true.

Neeeeh, neeh. So what are your skills, Tim-san?

But he pauses a little on his end before he laughs and responds ]

Skills, talents, passions. After all, if you're not a journalist by trade, you might have something else. Sarcasm can be pretty helpful though.

Either way, we don't know what skills are needed. Fighting, for sure, but something which can be solved with fists can have other angles for anyone else. Or hell, maybe you could not help, that's probably legit too.
