GAME START!
[For a kid who's pretty much constantly sauntering about shooting people creepy grins and running off their mouth, Chara seems fairly relaxed, this feed. Could be the fact that they're in the library. Or perhaps it's just a nice day outside.]
Would you like to play a game, fellow foot soldiers?
[Or maybe it's the fact that they're making a mildly off-kilter Saw joke, whatever.]
The past few weeks, I've noticed when talking to others that even the most unassuming words can have significantly different meaning; mark me curious. So here's the rules;
Each of us will have our turn in choosing a word. Perhaps this word has no real meaning to us, or perhaps it does.
The receiver of said word goes on to define it; either in a social...or personal context. Then they also pick a word to be defined. And thus the cycle continues until one of us gets bored.
[A bright smile, and the camera swings wildly askew as it's holder reaches over the side of the lounge for another book.]
I'll even start it off. Your word, is 'monster'.

NOPE NOT
How unfortunate that her curiosity only led her to more questions.]
I see.
[That feel when everything you thought you knew was a lie. When all that free will turns around and shows you just how strong Destiny can be.]
This game became very philosophical very quickly.
OH SO YOU LIKE DEATH THEN
Right, Minako?]
As most games do, with intellectual thinkers involved.
I have one more word for you, then we can stop, if you'd like.
'SOUL'.
MMM DELICIOUS DEATH
Creating your own obstacles. That's what shadows are all about at every level, though, aren't they? Nyx and the Fall were just on a greater scale...]
I imagine I'll have a lot to think about for awhile.
[Like what has this kid seen and been through? Every interaction is strange and thought-provoking. Every sign points toward "help this kid". As if she had any idea how.]
The source of consciousness and basic personality. Where one needs to delve to to find oneself. Where courage and strength can be found.
-calmly dusts off hands-
They aren't asking for help. The smile she gets is the same smile as always; the way they speak as seemingly carefully constructed and utterly careless as it's ever been. It's not a discussion of all the things they wish to change, all the struggles they face that Chara has no idea what to do with.
It's just another discussion. It's the norm.]
Interesting. So when you consider the term, it's about...soul-searching, if you will.

But they are clearly the result of some harsh consequences.
She can practically feel that wish for death all the way from her spot back home at the Seal.]
Ah.... [She does manage a genuine chuckle. That's a good pun.] I suppose that is what I was getting at. I do have another word for you, actually, if you don't mind.
[She can drag this game back out of the muck to something less depressing.]

They're a very reputable source, for that lesson.]
Certainly; I'm more than happy to play with you for longer.
[They also happen to like games. Go figure.]
fun story i forgot what word i was gonna do
Chara is a fascinating person.]
Not entirely related to the game, I'm curious if you know anything of the Tarot, but that might be breaking the rules, so I'll give you a word instead. Journey.
the amount of times that's happened to me is concerning, honestly.
That using them opens the gates to hell.
[S h r u g. Sounds like someone doesn't quite believe what they're saying, there.]
Journey. To progress from one point of time to another, with additional events occurring between said points. Generally a catalyst of change, progression, or destruction.

Minako nods, though. 'Destruction' hangs in the air like a bad smell, though.]
I would agree with that. The journey bit, not the gates to hell bit. The major arcana is a pretty important set of metaphors where I'm from.
[Well, mostly just to persona users, but that's an integral part of her perspective on her home world.]

I haven't heard of them before; perhaps, one day, you'd consider showing me how they work?

I'd be happy to! It's sort of funny how much I can't escape them, and I usually make it a point to encourage curiosity.
[Being around Chara affects the way she speaks, it would seem.]
