GAME START!
[For a kid who's pretty much constantly sauntering about shooting people creepy grins and running off their mouth, Chara seems fairly relaxed, this feed. Could be the fact that they're in the library. Or perhaps it's just a nice day outside.]
Would you like to play a game, fellow foot soldiers?
[Or maybe it's the fact that they're making a mildly off-kilter Saw joke, whatever.]
The past few weeks, I've noticed when talking to others that even the most unassuming words can have significantly different meaning; mark me curious. So here's the rules;
Each of us will have our turn in choosing a word. Perhaps this word has no real meaning to us, or perhaps it does.
The receiver of said word goes on to define it; either in a social...or personal context. Then they also pick a word to be defined. And thus the cycle continues until one of us gets bored.
[A bright smile, and the camera swings wildly askew as it's holder reaches over the side of the lounge for another book.]
I'll even start it off. Your word, is 'monster'.

Only if you really wanna tell me. But yeah. I'm still curious.

Are only as important as you let them be. His answer isn't particularly pushy; he's curious. But only if they want to tell him.
Chara kind of does. It's with the air of a child showing off that they hold a hand aloft- a flash of red, a shutter click in the center of their chest, and there it is. One SOUL, drifting almost aimlessly across uncaring fingers.]
It means this.
[Ta da.]

No, Wade's expression as he looks at Chara's SOUL is more of a surprised curiosity, mixed with a sort of childish delight-- the expression of someone who's just come across a vibrantly colored insect or animal.]
Whoa.
[Eat your heart out, Keanu Reeves.
After a few seconds, he tears his eyes away from the glowing heart and meets Chara's gaze.]
It's not hurting you to have that hangin' out there like that, is it? I mean, looks pretty important from where I'm standin'.
no subject
It's not hurting you...is it?
What kind of person asks a question like that?]
About as much as eating chocolate pie hurts...but you're not wrong. [A flick of their wrist, and back into their chest it goes, leaving Chara to calmly scrape off the very last pieces of chocolatey goodness from their plate.]
It's a precious commodity, where I come from. Absolutely to die for.
no subject
It's... very pretty. [That seems like a safe thing to say.] But you still haven't exactly told me what it means.

Humans don't draw hearts the way they do because they're drawing a heart, Wade. They're drawing the culmination of everything they ever have and will be.
That is what it means.

[To be honest, Wade doesn't know what to make of this revelation. Oh, he understands what Chara's saying loud and clear, but it's the implications he can't exactly wrap his brain around.
He licks his own spoon thoughtfully, mouth stretching in a grin that's mischievous and almost shy.]
So. Uh. I don't know if you don't normally show that part of yourself to people or if this is just one of those "the way to a person's heart is through their stomach" type of deals. Literally in this case, I guess.
But, uh... thanks. For trusting me with that, I mean. I'd return the favor, but... y'know. The fabric of my being's not so easily detachable. Not without painting the walls, know what I'm sayin'?
no subject
They could take insult. Easily done, in the hardest of circumstances, and the option is most certainly there. An assumption of trust; that he's closer to them than anyone else is in this castle, when really- no one is close. No one will ever be...close.
But he smiles like that, and Chara knows that if they closed their eyes, for even a moment, they'd still see it. It would be exactly the same.
But it would belong to someone else.]
I suppose we'll have to make do with your limitations, and compensate with pie exorcisms, instead.
[Tibia, for all her blatant staring, earns herself a tap on the nose of her skull.]
no subject
Geez, kid. Never thought I'd be made to feel bad about not bein' able to show you my heart. That's cold.
[Tibia, after patting her skull lightly to make sure Chara hasn't left a chocolate stain, adopts the same stance after a quick look at her caretaker. Wade chuckles, rubs her head again, and finishes off the last of his pie.]
Want any more of these hard-earned spoils? 'Cause otherwise they're goin' in the fridge. Might possess the next poor sap who comes by here with a case of the munchies, but that's a chance we're just gonna have to take, y'know?
no subject
[Git gud, mister Deadpool. Tibia better watch herself, because now that Chara's seen her checking, they make a very deliberate swipe of their finger across the pie tin before reaching out to her again.]
I'll tell you a secret sealing spell I learned recently; legend says that if you lock demonic food in a plastic container, and wield the holy sharpie across it's surface into the name "Chara"... it surely will haunt the populace no longer.
[In other words, save them some for later.]
