Things to know about your invisible neighbors

we're called seraphim
think humans but were sort of half element
like fire water earth wind
those sort of elements
of course
home
theres seraphim that come in the shapes of dogs or cats
not to mention katz
so if we seem human and then there's something that really isn't human
it just goes with being what we are.

the whole thing with us being invisible

thats actually on humans
nothing about seraphim changed
its something about humanity that ended up with resonance going down
or suddenly needing it

im a wind seraph
means im probably the cause of most of these indoor breezes and whatnot
or maybe its not me
because theres more than one wind seraph here
and i dunno if theres other people with wind powers about
so maybe dont go assuming its zaveid
that could be a problem

dont worry about not being able to see us
for all i dont get why humans stopped being able to
resonance goes up the longer a humans around a seraph
so eventually you might be able to see us
probably

been literal ages since everyone could see me

have a cat shaped head
but more human face on it
most are pink i think
and sometimes they hide out as a cat

Hylek are large frog-like creatures from Tyria. They come in a lot of different shapes and have their own tribes, so saying you met a Hylek would probably be met with the question "which kind?".

So. Katz are... Charr. Sort of. Without horns and probably not as big?

Charr are a race of feline-people from Tyria. But they have horns. No, I don't know why they have horns they just do. They're also huge.

charr aren't all that terrifying anymore really. maybe to my ancestors but that war is long behind us now

theyre really bad news

to be honest
i am trying to wrap my head around a dragon not eating something
and leaving it as a minion
and it really isnt working

guess that makes yours scarier
since they can make that decision

elder dragons have always been elder dragons

theyve always had minions

they wake up every few centuries to eat the excess magic energy in Tyria

but its never a clean process and the result is usually just more of their corrupted minions roaming around causing problems

theyre also sentient enough to CREATE their own minions and have them even integrate themselves as a peaceful race for nearly thirty years

not that i blame the sylvari for any of it that was all mordremoth and a lot of the sylvari are fighting back against his control

but it hasn't been pretty

at all

[If their dragons came from other races, there might have been a better chance of dealing with them in ways that were less messy and awful. But they don't, and they corrupt everything they touch, and no one ever comes back from being a Risen... or a Mordrem... or a Branded...] id rather it not be a contest but youre right theyre pretty fucking awful if nothing else ive learned we're not the only ones with this sort of problem, even if your dragons are still different thats something to take comfort in, even minimally
