{ Mithos spends several seconds silently staring into the screen, as if he wasn't even really sure what he was going to try to say. And is he... floating? A myriad of different colors - every one in the EM spectrum - seems to be flickering in and out behind him. It's as if he's trying to concentrate, but whatever it is he's concentrating on, it's frustrating the hell out of him, and it couldn't be more obvious. }

Alright, fine, I give up. { An annoyed sigh. He's not used to having problems controlling his powers, and to him, it's worse than embarrassing - it's a blow to his ego. } Anyone else here have powers that are based off of mana? The mana in this world is weird enough without me being able to... er... { He glances behind him. Well, it's not like it's worth hiding; the people from his world probably already know who he is. Right?

{ ... Was? Wait... he was from his world? And while Martel was indeed (made up to be) the deity of the majority religion of his world, she wasn't really associated with the World Tree. And the only people who even remembered that there was a World Three - before it exploded and was shot with the mana cannon, thanks Lloyd - are all in Cruxis. }

{ This... didn't make sense. It was pretty clear that Alice was from the future of his world, when he spoke to her. But how far into future was this guy? }

There's a goddess of the world tree, ages and ages ago. Looks like she's got leaves in her hair, from the art work, and that's the only time I really remember a Tethe'alla or Sylvarant. [ And his pronunciation is a bit off, like a language shift or it really was super ancient ago, so partially forgotten. ]

Granted, I'm not the history nerd. Friend of mine had a coin with her on it. called it a kharlan coin or something.

{ There's no mistaking it. He's talking about his sister. Mithos loses his composure, and is almost frantic when he starts demanding answers. }

A-Are you talking about the Church of Martel? { He's pretty sure that's not in the Church's teachings, but who knows, religions change over time, or off-shoot sects can form. But if one thing is sure, he's even farther into the future than Alice is.

And a Kharlan Coin? Derris-Kharlan didn't have its own currency, at least not while he was in charge. And definitely not with her image on it. }

Where did that coin come from? Who made it? Was it that idiot Pope in Meltokio?!

Uhh. Never heard of it. [ Whoa kid calm down. ]

And never heard of any Meltokio either, so uh. Not that much help.

The coins? Definitely before my time, so probably a while into the Fortune of Phantasia, I think humans are calling it. There's enough of the coins that people know of them on sight, kinda that step between an actual rarity and a common collectors item.

{ Mithos had to try very, very hard to let the man speak without interrupting him. No Meltokio? It's the biggest city in Tethe'alla, and if the worlds were rejoined, it might just be the biggest metropolis in the world. And Fortune of Phantasia? What the hell is that? }

What's the 'Fortune of Phantasia?'

{ Maybe someone just decided to decorate some new currency with Martel's image? And if the worlds really were rejoined, maybe the new Tree of Mana was just associated with Martel because they saw it as a miracle?

That would mean Lloyd didn't tell anyone the truth about him or Martel. Might just be the smartest thing he's ever done. }

An era. Ended about a couple'a thousand years ago, by human keeping track. Like.. three? Supposedly we lived all comfy together, then and through the Destiny Dawn. That'd be the next big era. [ He was pretty young then, he doesn't exactly remember- ]
