[Lance looks...well. Like he hasn't quite slept well for a few days. There's a big bag of candy next to him, though a good chunk of it is already gone. The candy wrappers in the background by his bed tell enough of what's happened to them.]

So. Uh. That masquerade! Yeah, that was a heck of a time. It was great to meet so many of you there. Nothing like a good old party to bring people together, right?

[He pauses. Looks thoughtful. Pops another piece of candy in his mouth.]

Those masks were...really something. Some of them were magic, weren't they? Yeah, that was...fascinating. And stuff.

okay so like

the masquerade a few days ago, I went to it, it was pretty awesome

tons of pretty people except most of them were taken so boo

but anyway the point is that some of the masks were magic and totally concealed your identity? which I didn't really know, well sort of figured it out but didn't think about it much since it's not like I know a lot of people here anyway

so anyway there was this one complete hottie who came up to me and chatted me up and I swear even with the mask he was like the most gorgeous thing I'd ever seen right? so I put the awesome Lance moves on and we danced and I almost kissed him
