[Lance looks...well. Like he hasn't quite slept well for a few days. There's a big bag of candy next to him, though a good chunk of it is already gone. The candy wrappers in the background by his bed tell enough of what's happened to them.]

So. Uh. That masquerade! Yeah, that was a heck of a time. It was great to meet so many of you there. Nothing like a good old party to bring people together, right?

[He pauses. Looks thoughtful. Pops another piece of candy in his mouth.]

Those masks were...really something. Some of them were magic, weren't they? Yeah, that was...fascinating. And stuff.

Looks like you got the haul of all hauls, but...shouldn't you be saving some of that sugar? I'm sure you're sweet enough. [ Really Kenny? Really? Welp, sorry Lance but you get an overly flirty guy. Really though he does look concerned, he knows it's never good to eat too much candy. Stuff'll make you sick. ]

Lance is supposed to be the one flirting with people. He can't remember the last time someone's actually literally flirted with him.

Why's it have to be now of all times? But no! He can't be off his game. It wouldn't be good for him to publicly show his current inner turmoil.]

Maybe, but really...that shit can really mess you up. Trust me. [ Halloween was the only time he really got a lot of candy, he'd gorged himself on the stuff more times than he could count. ] I'd say take some pepto but I doubt we even have it here. Maybe some ginger tea? Friend back home used to swear by it.

[Nope. Not getting homesick. Don't need that on top of everything.]

I'm sure there's at least some ginger in the kitchen you can steep into your own tea. Shouldn't be that hard right?

Don't worry Lance he's homesick too, he's been busy worrying about his sister back home and maybe not doing as much as he should around here. ]

Point. I'll figure out something. The sugar crash hasn't hit yet, at least...

[Probably because he keeps eating. His stomach really isn't appreciating it, though, so he'll probably seek out that ginger soon.]

Woo buddy, that's gonna suck when it does. Tell ya what, meet me in the kitchen and I can see about fixing up a tea or something for you to help settle your stomach.

[ Lance's gets a short wave before Kenny turns off his end of the feed and is already heading towards the kitchen.

When he get's there he's immediately looking for ginger. It doesn't take him too long so by the time Lance get's there he should be done grating ginger to make a pulp to use to make the tea. He even found some honey for a little tiny bit of sweat to help lessen the crash.

[It's a good thing that tea is happening, because Lance's stomach is definitely starting to hurt now. He grimaces as he walks the hallway, realizing that it was most certainly a bad idea to eat that many sweets. But it wasn't as if he could help it.

He spots the other boy he'd been talking to in the kitchen once he gets there.]

Hey. Thanks again, really, for all this, cause I think I'm really gonna need it.

Not a problem.

[ Kenny shrugs before passing over a mug after it was finished. ]

I used to do it for my little sister all the time. She'd gorge herself on candy almost every Halloween.

My younger siblings would do the same. And me... We'd always get yelled at, but eh. Worth it.

[Lance takes the mug from Kenny, giving him a thanks and a smile before sipping at it. It's still to hot to drink properly, but it does taste good.]

[ Kenny chuckles and nods. ]

Yeah I did it too. Our parents didn't really yell at us for it though, hell if we filled up on candy it meant we had something in our stomachs.

Honestly it was better than nothing.
