[Here's a very confused looking Allura on your video phone.]

I've seen at least one thing about this, and heard talking of it in the halls, but...

...What is this 'Thanksgiving'?

It's a holiday from a country back on Earth. I'm not from there originally so it's prooooobably better if an actual American told you, but from what I've come to understand it's about family and giving thanks and a metric crapton of food.

As Lance said, it's a Terran holiday from the country of America.

From my understanding, it's a holiday centered around the tradition of giving thanks for survival, bountiful harvest, friendship, and alliances. It culminates in a grand feast where people declare what they have to be thankful for before dining.

It is ALSO celebrated with a parade, and their national sport of Football. But that's more on a national level than a family level.

[He looks a little surprised when the feed starts, this is the first time he's gotten his phone to work. His expression levels out pretty quickly.]

I'm not sure, but it sounds like a lot of food.
