[Here's a very confused looking Allura on your video phone.]

I've seen at least one thing about this, and heard talking of it in the halls, but...

...What is this 'Thanksgiving'?

It's a holiday from a country back on Earth. I'm not from there originally so it's prooooobably better if an actual American told you, but from what I've come to understand it's about family and giving thanks and a metric crapton of food.

Just, so much food, Allura. All the food, if it's anything like the holidays we have back where I come from. More food than you even know what to do with. Oh man, the Christmas dinners we'd have back home... Leftovers for days with how much we'd make. So I guess Thanksgiving is similar at least like that.

Usually no, hence the leftovers part. I'm from a huge family, so we always have to make a ton, and we always overdo it just to be on the safe side.

[Oh, yeah.]

Christmas is another holiday, about a month after. That's something celebrated around the world, though, not just the United States.

It started as a religious thing, over things in Christianity. The birth of their Messiah, Jesus, and just kind of....gets confusing. Honestly, it just turns more like Thanksgiving than anything else.
