[ Hey everyone, have a very uncomfortable looking Ryuji with....are those ribbons on his face....are those ribbons moving?!

So...apparently Eevee's have multiple evolutions? Some that don't need those stone things I was told about.

[ A happy chirp and suddenly there is a Sylveon crawling from his shoulder to the table in front of him. He's still touching Ryuji's face with his weird...kind of creepy, flesh ribbons. Someone help, he's not very comfortable right now. ]

That is how a Sylveon shows affection. Clearly you have a very high level of friendship with your partner.

[ Honestly of course he does, he takes very good care of his pokemon thank you, he loves them.

It's just a little weird for them. ]

is that what this one needed? Friendship? I mean I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong just....

[ He pushes the ribbons away before rubbing the Sylveon's head affectionately. ]

A high level of affection, yes. There are others that will do the same, but change depending on the environment around them. A Leafeon, for example, evolves when there is high friendship and an abundance of forest energy around them.

If you find the ribbons difficult to function with that way, try holding one of them in your hand. Sylveon are known for exhibiting calm energies to their trainer that way.

Ah...I guess that makes sense.

[ He blinks a couple times before moving a hand to remove the ribbons from his face, getting a small sound from his companion, before holding them lightly in his hand. It took a moment but soon his Sylveon was chirping and happily holding his hand with said ribbons.

Okay...that was way cuter than him randomly touching Ryuji's face a bunch. ]

Better? [N isn't the Pokemon expert for nothing. He's studied up quite a bit on Pokemon from regions he's yet to visit, including Kalos.]

[ Seems like his Sylveon is happier like this too.

Ryuji just smiles a bit and goes back to scratching under the little guys chin. ]
