So I was wondering...

Has anyone here been to a world that's not their own before? Or been to a place like this, with people from a lot of different worlds?

Also hands up if you've died before, I'm kind of curious. Since death's supposedly not permanent in this place, I was wondering. Bonus points if you've died in one of those worlds that brings in people from multiple worlds.

(Points are not going to actually be awarded, before you even ask.)

Yeah some of my friends tried to kill me repeatedly. We got messed with a lot and death was expected.

Sorry to hear that, yet not surprised that there are more worlds like that in the great big universe.

[He is genuinely sympathetic, not because of Ken's age or anything (how is he supposed to know how old he is through text?) just...the situation isn't something he'd wish on anybody.]

I guess? If you're counting physical, yes, I came back without a scratch on me in the altar room. Mentally, no, never.

Same, pretty much. It kind of makes you wonder why, but I don't think that's something you're ever going to get an answer to.

Well yeah, mentally, you're always going to be messed up. But that's good to know... even if dying sucks. But hey, I haven't died yet. That beats my record from the last place.

Buddy, there are a lot of people here that wanna make sure you don't get hurt, let alone killed. Lots of heroes around here, and one lazy skeleton that pretends he doesn't care but really cares way too much. Maybe it won't be so bad this time, who knows.

Hopefully not. I can heal myself, but it's not something I can do a ton of. I wouldn't mind other healers being around, as long as I don't have to go to the infirmary.

I can do a little bit of healing magic for what that's worth, I'm mostly a curse-breaking, make-the-barriers kind of guy though.

Not a fan of infirmaries? Let me guess--last place you were in did medical experiments?

I can reflect some stuff, but not for very long.

Yeah. Jason was in charge of the revival system and a lot of other medical stuff. He also experimented on everyone in my group during one of the things that happened there.

Yeah. Same. Our resident doctor is a man named Colin, he took care of me and Hilda when we arrived--he's not so bad, definitely not someone that would rearrange your organs or stick a virus in you to see what would happen. Definitely not like the people back in the Box.

That's good. I'm still not going to the infirmary. I haven't been to a doctor in a long time. Besides, I got some healing items from Ozuma that I can use for a while.

I can show you how to mix up some healing potions, too, if you ever need more.

Yeah turning blue wouldn't be the worst thing, but it wouldn't be a good side effect to spring on people. Not in a healing potion, at least.
