So I was wondering...

Has anyone here been to a world that's not their own before? Or been to a place like this, with people from a lot of different worlds?

Also hands up if you've died before, I'm kind of curious. Since death's supposedly not permanent in this place, I was wondering. Bonus points if you've died in one of those worlds that brings in people from multiple worlds.

(Points are not going to actually be awarded, before you even ask.)

Also for the record my answers are yes, yes, and yes - five times.

Technically it shouldn't be possible back home. I mean the fact that it's possible at all means that it IS or was always theoretically possible just because it turned out not to be impossible.

We just had this incident with a black hole that tore open some rifts between our Earth and another Earth. Huuuuge mess dude. Hope it didn't take a black hole to get your world hopping up and running.

Sorry to hear it if he was friendly. Never heard about a death that sounded so hella ambiguous.

Man. That sounds terrible. And I mean really terrible. Confusing and unethical might be what I'm going for. But they seem lighter than the sentiment I'm feeling.

[ And a pause. Just long enough to be more than a brief stop to type. ]

So you've died five times?

That sucks. Just like straight-up died or an alternate timeline situation? if it's cool to ask. No pressure.
