So I was wondering...

Has anyone here been to a world that's not their own before? Or been to a place like this, with people from a lot of different worlds?

Also hands up if you've died before, I'm kind of curious. Since death's supposedly not permanent in this place, I was wondering. Bonus points if you've died in one of those worlds that brings in people from multiple worlds.

(Points are not going to actually be awarded, before you even ask.)

Also for the record my answers are yes, yes, and yes - five times.

It seems like that's going to happen anyway, given how this place operates. The Queen doesn't exactly like most people.

I'm just a normal human, though. All I can really do is use strategy to help my team battle to their best potential. There's really no telling for sure how much of a difference I will make with that.

Well, yeah, I guess. I'm not sure how my strategy skills will apply to anything but Pokemon, though.

I guess not. I am pretty afraid of mucking it up in a life or death situation, though. I'm confident enough with Pokemon, but most other things .... nah.

And if someone else lost their life because of my stupid mistake, I'm not sure I'd be able to forgive myself.

... I guess. In the Tower most of us got used to treating death like it wasn't a huge deal.

In Vatheon, people came back from death. But in the Bastion, once you were dead, you didn't come back. Not at all.

Even if we can come back, the emotional repercussions are pretty serious for a lot of people, and the emotional repercussions for even witnessing a death is pretty bad, too.

... Yes. I know. But we can't be so scared of getting hurt that we don't fight.

... We can always practice. That way you can learn what people can do.

You're welcome. Sometimes it takes someone not in the middle of things to call out orders. My sister did that for our group, and I know SEES had someone in their group who did that, too.

Specialized... Extracurricular Execution Squad? Something like that. Anyway, they were a... group of Persona-users in my world. They fought Shadows, too, but... they were the enemies of my group for a long time. They didn't realize they were being manipulated.

I hope they're okay after being manipulated like that.

Most of them are... still working it out, I think. One of their members was the heir to the company that manipulated them. ... Maybe she's the head now, actually. But I don't... spend a lot of time around them. We trained together a bit and came together to fight off the Nyx Avatar but... after that, we kind of broke apart a bit. I have... people to take care of. So I don't really know for sure.

Mm ... It sounds like they'll be okay, I hope.

My husband's dealt with something similar, and he's still dealing with the effects of it too.
