We've got confirmed newcomers in the altar room, and they're reporting that Ozuma isn't there. They're also reporting seeing memories that aren't their own.

I think we've got Queenly shenanigans in play. Can we get a strike team to the Altar Room, in case we're going to get a follow up visit by shadows?

Okay, heads up. You're unlikely to see anything that's trying to kill you. The queen's agents are shadows. The dumb ones will try to come out and get you without any subtlety, but she's been employing smarter ones recently. They strike quick, and stealthily.

Avoid any swirling pools of darkness. You go in one, you die.

Shadows? Do they literally look like darkness or are they just really black? I can see in the dark. And I've got pretty good reflexes, but I'll keep an eye out. Do they have any particular noise or smell as they appear?

The aerial ones have audible wingflaps, and you will hear footfalls from the simple ones.

The assassins... not so much. And we've definitely haven't seen all of what she's got to throw at us.

I haven't got a heightened sense of smell, so I can't tell about smell. But yeah, they're actual opaque shadow.

Great. Well it makes sense that assassins don't make sound...

Hm. So even with dark vision, they blend in. That's... annoying. I'll have to check to see if I can find any other giveaways, though I'm not exactly chomping at the bit to get in a fight.
