[ It's so strange to be able to type again. After literally years of having to handwrite written messages, it's odd to use a phone again. It's perhaps that more than anything which sees him putting up this post onto the social media network. It's form a "newbie" and it might be out of place with the growing dark climate with the flickering lights and rotting foot, but it's something he throws out all the same.

And it's...! ]

Soooo!! Does anyone know any god date spots in the castle? Anyone already sailing the seas of romance before now, or is the stark soldiery we've been pushed towards put a quash on romance in the name of stoic friendship? Let's hear those stories, people! She's not here and yet Zuko considers the girlfriend still present tense. That's... That's actually really admirable, and his face shifts just a little, threatening to become something more obviously sincere, nakedly expressing his emotions. But he corrects just as quickly, and he puts a smile back on his face ]

Hopefully you'll be able to see her soon, Zuko-chan.

[ But now, to be fair, ]

I'm single, myself! I had a girlfriend I was really into back in the day, but that didn't work out in the end. [ The most wild over-simplification of Saki ever... ] And then I was flirting around and was getting pretty heated with some other girls, even might've rekindled things with my ex! But none of those worked out either. And then, in Luceti- I fell in love with Katara.

[ He says it airy, as if it were simple. His eyes betray him - those feelings are still boiling with him ]

... And that also didn't really work out. [ ... ] I thought I was at the cusp of maybe something happening with another girl once I got over Katara rejecting me finally, buuuut. Here I am.

[ Not even in the same world. ]

That's a lot of rejection, and he actually seems like he was pretty serious about most of those girls.

But on the other hand...]

[ Pfffthahaha. His smile grows that much wider, positively impish and he holds back from making a sarcastic comment more reflective of what his eyes are betraying, a sort of hurt nostalgia for the fact that almost every girl he's been serious about has questioned him on that at some point.

[ Not that his response makes it obvious. He's always been one to be a little bit contrary, and to put up a small front. ]

That's not his intent! If anything he's pretty sure he's gotten better about that over the years. But still, he seems to gasp as if this shocked him (to which Linda shouts from across the the room something to the effect of "come on bro" and he squirms a bit ]

[What, did you expect Zuko to be dishonest?]

[ No, no he did not. But all the same, he mocks holding his chest as if he were shot through it, and--

Falls off his seat.

He falls side-long onto the floor, albeit catching himself hard to avoid damage.

But it might have been too dramatic of act, particularly as he continues to pop his hand out from his chest as if "gushing" blood ]

[Zuko makes no reaction to that except to wait for him to finish with his dramatics.

But Kizuna finally leaves her side to walk over to the stranger and chirp at him. Are you okay? What are you doing with your hand?]

[ What a harsh audience.

But okay, he springs back to his feet quick enough you'd think he planned it, given he doesn't even need to mouth his knee, just sort of pushes up hard with his arm, catches himself and uses his abs to complete the lift. Now up in front of Zuko (and hopefully not spooking the dragon too much) he smiles a softer, more gentle smile and, ]

I'm sorry I've mad you uncomfortable, Zuko-chan. The last thing I'd want to do to a cute girl, let alone one of Katara or Aang's friends.

[Kizuna does give another chirp of surprise, but she seems more fascinated with this quick recovery than scared.]

Yeah. You really need to stop calling me cute.

Because it's not accurate.

[And she doesn't need someone reminding her of her appearance all the time.]

It is, though.

Buuuut I'd get if complimenting you for that is more the domain of your girl.

Even when Zuko-chan is cute, I won't call Zuko-chan cute. Because you're right, that girlfriend of yours can no doubt see many hundreds of ways I can't and I don't know you that well yet.

[ Lowering his hands though, ]

But, I hope we can be friends.

[After all, Katara wouldn't be friends with someone with no redeeming qualities.]

But she's happy to talk about her dragon. Kizuna seems pleased for the attention, too.]

Ahaha... hey, for all I know your girlfriend can have children with a woman and is a dragon! I've heard of weirder!

[ That said, he laughs a little and brushes his face against the dragon's body, feeling the scales. How heavy and big is it? He would ask where she got this one, but... Well no, he might soon enough ]

No, she's human.

[Kizuna is kind of dog-sized? But more serpentine and probably lighter since she needs to fly. She chatters a little at his unorthadox method of petting. Most people use their hands? How silly!]

Hahaha, then my bad for the assumption.

[ She feels warm, warm but small, a little slinky? Oh well, he keeps it up a moment longer before pulling her back, still in his hands. She's so wiggly. ... Also Linda may or may not have floated over towards them now, her arms crossed as much as a mouse can cross her comparatively stubby arms ]

And that's interesting, as a daughter. Linda here's my partner.

[Kizuna turns her attention to Linda with a bright chirp. Hello!]

[ Masaomi nods, petting the head of the dragon one last time before crouching down to let him back on the floor. Linda, for her part, punches one palm into the other palm and allows a surge of electricity to run down her body from her cheeks.

Masaomi answers, ]

Mmmhm! We're pretty good at it, aren't we?

[ Linda was nodding a Cool Girl's greeting to Kizuna, but looks back to Masaomi with a smug expression before waving her arms and saying in so many Raichu-words (which thus can't be totally understood by humans, but Masaomi at least can get the gist) "Well, you're pretty good, I happen to be one of the strongest ever, so really, you're just the lucky one I like you so much." ]
