[ It's so strange to be able to type again. After literally years of having to handwrite written messages, it's odd to use a phone again. It's perhaps that more than anything which sees him putting up this post onto the social media network. It's form a "newbie" and it might be out of place with the growing dark climate with the flickering lights and rotting foot, but it's something he throws out all the same.

My partner's a mouse of of sorts and two of her big rivals have been birds.

A mouse? Cool. I've had Bob since he was a baby... I know a lot of people like me who have animal companions.

Same here! She hatched in my arms, actually. It was a pretty exciting experience all things considered.

[ Of course without the context she is a Raichu the idea that a mammal-creature "hatched" is a bit weird. ]

Mmmhm, I've seen one or two trainers around and even my roommate has her own, so they must be relatively common! For there being only eighty people, or so I've been told.

I haven't really counted, but I think so. We're kind of cramped in here, though... I wish there were more open spaces.

You feel cramped? That Alter Room I woke up in might as well be the size of like two or three baseball fields.

What's a World Tree anyway?

Yep! I could give myself talons or claws but wings are more useful.

It's... well it shows up in a lot of mythologies, but most people know it from Norse mythology. It's the tree that connects all the worlds, with most of them being branches off of the tree.
