y'know, looking back? it's been pretty interesting.

i mean, look at us. we've got some basic amenities, power, even phones and the best internet you can make banging rocks together. we've got a community and everything, hey! nothing quite like the stale smell of desperation to really bring people together. but i've heard more than one of us ask what this war's really good for. for us.

makes a guy think about something other than starrs for a change. (yeah, see what i did there? you just dated yourself.)

anyway there's an actual point to this. see, being a good little soldier really tuckered the kid out, so frisk's gone on a vacation. some of you probably have questions. before you do, i want you to think about how much pressure kids should take. and maybe, y'know, lay off a little.

That makes Norma sick to her stomach the instant she reads it over, again and again, before she needs to put her phone down and just lay her head in the crook of one arms for a while. [Something was wrong. From the moment Ammy woke up this morning to right now, she felt hit in her bones - something was wrong. Perhaps it was her clairvoyance, which liked to make itself known at only the rarest of times, when the ripples of fate were bound closer together than usual. But as she makes her way back through the castle, back to her shared room, her gait slows. It's almost like she's afraid to open the door as she stands before it, stalking inside carefully. There was foreign scent in here, faint, but not to a wolf's keen sense of smell.

Her nose wrinkles, and again something prickles at the back of her mind, making the fur on Ammy's back and neck stand up, and a low growl rumble instinctively through her chest. Something has invaded this place...something dark, foreboding. Something wrong. Not only thank, but, as she stalks in, there's...something else. Not just something wrong but--

[ He's just finished leaving a message for AZ by the time Sans finally shuffles over to his room for the first time in days -- not that sleeping in his own bed didn't have a certain irresistible appeal -- to find a familiar shape occupying the floor just in front of it.

It's unlikely that Sunbeam's been sleeping there the whole time but... he experiences a twinge of guilt, thinking maybe he'd forgotten to leave the door slightly ajar for her, that he should have stopped by sooner, that he's left her here by herself.

So he doesn't say a thing at first, just stoops to reach out and rumple her fur around her scruff.

Maybe a nap can wait.
