And They All Lived "Happily" Ever After.
Greetings, fellow soldiers.
[The feed opens up to a view from the very edge of the bridge. Slim legs dangling over the edge, at the very precipice of everything.
It's a nice day today. The water's sparkling. A light breeze has small waves kicking up on it's surface, barely distinguishable from the quality of the video format. Even so- it's pretty.]
It's been a while since our last game. I'm sure most of you are busy with the flurry of activity this month has sparked, however- indulge me for a few minutes.
Consider it a question, more than a game.
What would a 'happy ending' look like, to you?

If I'd already be dying anyway, there's no harm to her past what's already there.

[ He doesn't scoff. If anything, that pointed moment of silence is a little worse. ]
It's some s-word, but not that one.
[ He'd call that suicide, and it'd kill their mother, to boot. Yeah, he can't just not say anything. ]

Those weren't even the services I was offering in the first place. Quite the opposite, actually.
[They know a few people here who could do with a little death or ten.]
Speaking of science, however, I did mean to ask you about something.

Him neither. ]
...Sure, kid.

The story is better.]
You worked on the generator; how would one go about turning magical energy into fertilizer?

But it does make something at the back of his thoughts itch in a way that hadn't for a while until he got here and started... dabbling again.
God damn it Chara. ]
...Well. Depends.

Humans call it compost, kiddo, you never heard of it? Add some heat to accelerate the process and you've got yourself a stinky pile of plant food. Don't even need the generator.

[Honestly Sans. For a second there, they actually believed you were going to be useful.]
It's for the echo flowers. I highly doubt normal compost is going to do any good for something that has magical properties of it's own.
But congratulations. That was almost an attempt.

...
Why don'tcha try this one yourself? I've gotta sample somewhere -- redundant magic from the generator. Stuff's harmless, I checked.
[ Chara knows how messy his room can get. ]
There's enough of these flowers around to figure out the right ratio. Knock yourself out. That's one hobby that won't make your mom worry.

[What can they say? The stars are always aligned for someone to be an asshole.]
Then why not mention that from the start? Next time I see you, then, I'll collect the sample.
[Just not the next time he sees them. There's a big difference between those two events.]
I appreciate the actual effort.
