People got pulled in her with everything on them, and that's about it.

No comm networks, no cellular providers, no transmitters, so most cell phones were basically useless unless you wanted to play a game on it.

A couple of people gathered up all the phones, cannibalized them for parts and tech, and asked the resident near-divine being for a couple of favors to set up functional support network.

Sans and Alphys and I simply did the dirty work to make it an actual usable commnet.

It's basically a ton of salvaged tech playing at being a real comm system, held together with spit, wire, and duct tape.
